PRICE INCLUDES
Most International Airfares
— Pay direct or our travel agent for round trip flights between Perth / Wellington / Auckland & Kathmandu.

All Private Car Transfers
Round trip pick-up and drop-off shuttles between:
— Days 1 & 16: Kathmandu International Airport <> Kathmandu hotel.
— Day 2: Gear list, food, sights <> Kathmandu hotel.
— Days 3 & 15: Kathmandu heli-pad <> Kathmandu hotel.
All Accommodation
— Nights 1-2: 2 nights Kathmandu hotel: Maya Manor.
— Night 3: 1 night Lukla lodge: Everest Summit Lodge.
— Nights 4-14: 9 nights trek tea houses + 2 nights full service tenting during summit days.
— Night 15: 1 night Kathmandu resort: Dwarika’s Resort.
— Night 16: In-flight seat.
Most Meals
— Day 1: In-flight meals.
— Days 2-3: Breakfast at Kathmandu hotel: Maya Manor. (DIY lunch, dinner in Lukla).
— Days 4-14: Breakfast, lunch, dinner at lodge, trek tea houses & tents.
— Day 15: Breakfast at tea house, Everest 50th feast brunch, 50th dinner.
— Day 16: Breakfast at Kathmandu resort: Dwarika’s Resort. (DIY lunch, dinner).
— Day 17: Breakfast in-flight, Singapore 50th dessert lunch.
All Trek Water
— Days 4-13: 4 litres daily water sterilized & carried by guide team (and you can buy boiled / mineral from tea houses / lodges).
— Days 10-11: 4 litres daily water sterilized & carried by guide team during summit days.
All Private Helicopter Flights
— Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla.
— Day 4: Lukla to Khote.
— Day 13 or 14 or 15: Khare to Lukla.
— Day 15: Lukla to Everest Base Camp flyover to 15 min stop at Kala Pattar to 45 min Kongde 50th brunch to Lukla to Kathmandu.
All 1:1 Private Guide Team
Mera Peak experienced salary, insurance, equipment, domestic airfare, food, accommodation, summit bonus, carry bonus, kitchen staff gratuities and any other costs required (other than tips - see below).
— Days 1-16: Guide x 1.
— Days 4-15: Sherpa x 3.
— Days 4-15: Porters x 6 - carry 15kg per trekker personal gear, plus team gear.
— Day 1-16: Drivers x 25kg per trekker personal gear, for all private car transfers.
All Group Medical
— Guide team carry, at all times:
- First-aid kits.
- Medications for altitude & gastro sickness.
- Personal two-way radios.
— Guide team carry, above Khare base camp:
- Medical oxygen.
- Portable altitude chambers.
— Guide team have, at Khare base camp:
- Comprehensive medical chests.
- Satellite phones (at actual cost price).
All Group Equipment
— Group cooking gear & fuel.
— Group eating & drinking gear.
— Group climbing gear - ropes, ice screws/bars.
— 3-person alpine tent - share between 2 trekkers.
— Full length 50mm foam sleeping mat.
All Local Services
— All applicable permits, including Sagarmatha National Park, Makalu Barun National Park, Khumbu, Mera Peak, and any other permits required (including Liaison Offer expenses, etc).
— Garbage deposit fee.
— All applicable local and government taxes, and any other taxes required.
All Alpine Rescue & Travel Insurance
— You select your coverage when you reserve your place:
- Alpine rescue only.
- Comprehensive (alpine rescue + travel + medical).
- Comprehensive + cancel / interrupt for ANY reason (75% refund of all costs).
PRICE EXCLUDES
Some International Airfares
— If you do not wish to book with our travel agent for round trip flights between Kathmandu & Perth / Wellington / Auckland, please arrive Kathmandu by Wednesday 27 April 2022 LATEST.
— Nepal visa fees, international airport taxes, excess baggage charges.
Some Accommodation Amenities
— Trek tea houses - You pay for hot showers, laundry service, WIFI & power points for charging phones/cameras (if they are available).
— Tents - You bring personal portable chargers for phones/cameras.
— Contingency days - If we do not need these days on the trek, and we stay in Lukla, this is an extra US$100 per person per night for up to 2 nights at Everest Summit Lodge (includes breakfast).

All 1:1 Private Guide Team Tips
— To reward & encourage great service, you will tip our guide team members along the way.
— Expect to pay in cash, 10-20% of your Expedition I fee … between US$450 - $900.

— The following connectivity will be delivered to you on arrival in Kathmandu. Pay direct:
- Pre-paid Nepal 4G SIM card.
- Pre-paid trek WIFI card.
— Gear available for rent has been marked in the list above - you will pre-book it when you reserve your place, and our guide will deliver you to the store/s to pay direct.
All Additional Trek Days
— If we need more than the 2 allocated contingency days, it’s US$400 per person per extra night.
